Agency's Settings

The Settings section in StafStar provides Agency Admins with a variety of configuration options to tailor the platform to their agency’s needs. Here, Agency Admins can adjust their agency’s registration settings, tax settings, access StafStar’s professional resource pool, configure notification settings, and customize email preferences.


1. Agency Registration Settings

In this section, Agency Admins can modify the settings related to how agencies register on StafStar. This includes the customization of the registration process and other configurations that dictate how their agency will interact with the platform.


2. Tax Settings

Agency Admins can set up tax rates and configurations for their agency’s operations. This allows the agency to maintain compliance with local tax laws and manage tax rates accurately for invoicing and other financial operations within StafStar.


3. StafStar Resource Pool

StafStar provides a Professional Resource Pool where agencies can use professionals provided by StafStar. This feature allows agencies to tap into a pool of highly skilled professionals that are available for job postings. However, please note that the StafStar Resource Pool may be subject to additional fees, and you will need to contact StafStar to inquire about availability and pricing.


4. Instant Notification Days

This feature is especially useful for employers who post jobs on the platform. The Instant Notification Days setting allows Agency Admins to determine how soon after a job post notification will be sent to professionals. For instance, if the setting is 2 days, all professionals will receive a notification about job postings made by employers within a 2-day window.


5. SMTP Settings

If you prefer emails to be sent from your own agency’s email address instead of the default noreply@stafstar.com, Agency Admins can configure the SMTP Settings. This allows for greater branding control and ensures that emails related to job postings, invitations, or announcements come from your agency’s email address.


This section allows Agency Admins to add links to the agency's social media profiles and mobile app (if applicable). If your agency has a presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or a custom app, you can update these links here.

The Settings section allows Agency Admins to:

  • Customize the registration and onboarding process for their agency.
  • Configure tax settings and manage financial details.
  • Access and utilize StafStar's professional resource pool (with possible extra fees).
  • Control how job postings are notified to professionals via Instant Notification Days.
  • Use your own email domain through SMTP Settings for brand consistency.
  • Add social media and app links to improve visibility and engagement.

By managing these settings, Agency Admins ensure that their agency’s operations run smoothly and in line with their business needs.
